Rear Sway Bar Kit (Unwelded)

Description

Used to keep the centerline of a rear end housing parallel with the chassis, a Sway Bar or Anti-Roll Bar is a critical component found on most any drag racing vehicle. If a Anti-Roll bar is not used, the rear end housing can twist in opposition to the chassis which causes binding in the 4-Link and suspension.

Our Unwelded Rear Sway Bar Kit utilizes the same design, hardware and materials included with our Welded Sway Bar Assemblies but allows you to construct the unit for a custom chassis width.

The TMR-1219K kit consists of a 1.00” diameter main shaft along with three high-strength internal bearings to control chassis roll in vehicles up to 2,000 horse power. (3” Anti-Roll Bar Assembly recommended in higher horsepower applications.)

Precision cut laser tabs and a set of tubular supports create the sway bar arms that connect to the inner shaft. Four mounting tabs are welded to the chassis which bolt to the pair of sway bar mount tabs fixed to the main shaft. This makes it easy to remove the finished sway bar for inspection and maintenance. Four lower sway bar tabs are supplied for welding to your rear end housing which create attachment points for the sway bar links.

Two billet sway bar links connect the anti-roll bar arm to the rear end housing and feature a machined notch that allow for quick adjustments with a wrench.

As with any TMRC kit, only the best rod ends, bolts and hardware are used. You will not find any skimping on cheap material or pieces that are needed but “not included.” Everything that it takes to assemble and install this kit is provided along with instructions.
