Wishbone Mount Kit (Reverse Slide)

Description

Designed to be used for a wishbone mounted in a rear-facing slider configuration, this kit uses two sets of precision-cut upper and lower wishbone tabs that are welded to the rear crossmember between the four link brackets. Both of the front mounting points are reinforced with a pair of gussets that are profiled for the rear crossmember while providing clearance for rod ends to move freely.

The sliding end of the wishbone is secured using a pre-bent 4130 bracket that is fixed to a fabricated / sheet metal rear end housing. Because the sliding end of a wishbone endures the majority of abuse during a run, the housing bracket is fortified with a pair of gussets that enclose and support the area.

To allow clearance for the slider and rod end to move in proximity of the rear housing, a misalignment spacer is provided as well as a threaded stud that welds to the housing and delivers another strong point for the mounting fastener.

Finishing off the Wishbone Mount Kit is a group of three robust 1/2″ AN bolts that are sized to integrate with the welded mounts. The bolts are retained using a set of quality Nylock nuts which are accompanied by thin AN washers, as well as a lock washer for the spud-mounted rear bolt.
