Carbon Steel Tig Welding Rod is frequently used in our shop for welding 4130 steel. Available in small, medium and large diameters, the medium sized 1/16” diameter rod is the most common rod used during chassis and parts construction.

Sold by the pound in lengths of 36”, this welding rod is a triple deoxidized wire that provides defect-free weld deposits when used properly. Specifically designed for pipe welding, a premium mild steel welding alloy produces high quality welds in most grades of carbon steel.
