1/16” Silicon Bronze Tig Welding Rod is commonly used in GTAW brass welding of coated sheet steels and should ideally be used with similar base metals. We use this rod in the shop for attaching thin sheets such as filler or floor strips.
Sold by the pound in lengths of 36”, this welding rod uses low heat and should be used in non-stress areas because it can be prone to cracking.
