One look and it’s clear; the TMRC Modular Billet Housing is an incredible piece of automotive engineering.

The TMRC Billet Housing was originally designed over 10 years ago in response to issues generated by a surge in performance that door slammers were starting to achieve on a regular basis. This power increase began to reveal several weaknesses present in modular housings constructed through a traditional casting process.

Machined from 6061-T6 hardened aluminum alloy, TMRC’s billet housing demonstrates remarkable strength over traditional cast and welded floater housings and has proven itself through thousands of laps at racetracks worldwide.

All components which comprise the billet housing are CNC machined and generate an absolute ‘0’ toe at the end of the spindles; a feat which cannot be achieved in a welded floater housing. Additionally, the modularity of the housing provides the ability to change 4-link spread, wheel to wheel spacing, bracket styles, shock mounts and much more.

Through the years, the billet housing has seen various design revisions and improvements and is now in its fifth iteration. Some of these improvements include an expanded fill cap, further lightening, enhanced strength of rib and gusset areas, additional 4-link options as well as a beautiful mirror-like finish.
