Over the years, we have had numerous customers using standard carbon fiber sheets or thick, custom order carbon fiber sheets to create their own clear carbon wings because there are no good “Universal” options available today.

Most “Universal” Carbon Fiber Wing kits are short, narrow and do not offer the features and flexibility required to create a wing that meets the requirements of today’s professional race cars.

Seeing a need for a product that would provide builders with multiple configuration options, we spent several years developing a professional level Universal Carbon Fiber Wing Kit.

To start, we wanted to ensure that the wing would actually include enough material to cover 90% of the vehicles it would be installed on.

FLEXIBILITY

Oversized: We tried to make everything in this kit oversized with enough material to cover almost any configuration imaginable. This kit gives you the flexibility to create your own wing profiles and can further customize appearance by creating scalloped areas, spill plate profiles and more.

Spill Plates: This does not include spill plates, giving you the opportunity to create your own. However, we have three blank carbon fiber spill plate options available that will fit a variety of vehicles.

Wing Mounting: Because every car and build are different, we chose to leave wing/body mounting hardware out of this kit. That provides the option to mount with 1/4-turn fasteners, angle strips, piano hinge, or whatever works best for your application.

FEATURES

Width: 65”– Enough material for most vehicles to cut spill plates to follow body lines.

Length: 20” Sides, 22-1/2” at Center. Enough material for large or small wings. Mount at body line, run up under decklid, etc.

Strength: Wing is reinforced at the leading edge, wicker bill and spill plate mounting areas. Professional grade core material is added for rigidity.

Weight: The full sized wing is approximately 7.5 lbs prior to trimming. Custom lightweight options can be made to order.

Profile: Includes large radius at rear for aerodynamic properties and appearance. Wing can be mounted with a slight crown on deck to fit certain body types.

Wicker Bill: Wing incorporates a 1-1/2” reinforced wicker bill mounting flange. Also included is a full-length carbon wicker bill strip measuring 3.75” tall, giving you plenty of material for different sizes or adjustability.

Appearance: Clear carbon fiber top surface. Smooth, matte carbon fiber bottom.

Spill Plate Mounting: Black anodized mounting strips are included for mounting spill plates to wing. These pre-bent 80 degree aluminum mount strips can be formed to match the angle required for spill plates and trimmed to fit length.

Hardware: Black stainless steel hardware for mounting spill plates and wicker bill.

*The resin used in this product contains UV resistant properties. For enhanced protection from long-term sun exposure, we recommend finishing with a automotive clear coat or UV protective wax.
