TMRC Collaborates with Australian GDRC to Build Top Doorslammer Camaro

(11-27-12) MOOREBANK, NSW -  GD Racecars, Tim McAmis Performance Parts and long time customer Bill Gable have joined forces to produce a brand new 70.5 Camaro capable of running at today’s elite Doorslammer level.

Over the past three years we have formed a great relationship with world famous US chassis builder Tim Mcamis Race Cars (TMRC).

This is a unique opportunity for us to showcase the quality and advantages of Tim McAmis Performance Parts partnered with the fabrication skills found within GD Racecars.

TMRC has been commissioned to supply the welded chassis and body for the 70.5 Camaro. We believe this to be a great advantage to the client for the following reasons:

Upon receipt of the vehicle GD Racecars will complete the driver’s specific needs and any other fabrication required to complete the vehicle to ANDRA specifications.

Tim McAmis Race Cars opened its doors on November 1st, 1992, just two years after Tim won the first ever IHRA Pro Modified World Championship in 1990. The Tim McAmis Performance Parts (TMPP) kits and components are the same pieces used on our award winning in-house race cars. This ensures that all TMPP parts have been race-proven and are not specifically manufactured for retail which has become common practice in the industry.

Behind the process of all our components are experienced and qualified craftsman, welders and programmers, to certify that every weld, cut and machined part is precise and spot on. We are designing and reevaluating new ideas and products on a daily basis.
